Founded in 2022, Will & Must Oy was established to solve the biggest bottleneck in Finland’s green transition: the disconnect between international investment capital and local project execution. We saw that capital was available, but bankable projects were scarce. We built a company designed to bridge this gap. Unlike traditional developers who are solely focused on technical engineering, our DNA lies in law, finance, and strategic project management.

We began by developing utility-scale solar power projects, addressing the market need for capable partners who can execute large, internationally collaborative projects. We quickly grew into a major player in the field and have since expanded our activities beyond solar. Today, Will & Must is a strategic partner led by a senior team supported by an extensive network of technical specialists.

In 2024, we announced a landmark collaboration with FRV, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, to jointly develop hundreds of megawatts of solar capacity in Finland. We firmly believe that bold investments and strategic international partnerships are the keys to positioning Finland as a global leader in the green transition.

Our ambition is clear: to be a key contributor in Europe’s energy transformation. We continue to grow and work relentlessly to bring new investments and professional solutions to the field, accelerating the shift toward a sustainable, clean energy system.
