Our founders come from strategy, finance, law, public administration and energy. We are entrepreneurial and involved at every stage: we go to the sites, sit down with landowners and carry the permitting.
The people you meet are the people who do the work, the same from first conversation to delivery, equally at home with local stakeholders and international capital.
How we started
We were built around one gap in Finland's energy transition
International capital was ready; build-ready projects were scarce. Will & Must was founded in 2022 to close that gap from the side of local execution, not engineering. The name reflects our starting point: the will to build, and the urgency to do it now.
We began with utility-scale solar, where the need for capable local partners was clearest, and have since expanded into battery storage and data-centre sites. In 2024 we published a cooperation with FRV, one of the world's leading renewables developers and operators, to take Finnish solar projects toward ready-to-build.
Today the team, supported by a network of specialists, develops production, storage and consumption projects across Finland.

We commission the detailed studies and technical design from specialist partners chosen project by project.
A small senior team keeps overhead low and capital in the projects.
Our pipeline has grown to around 1.5 GW across three asset types.
